Match Summary

Stellenbosch had a successful start to their TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup Group C campaign, achieving a 1-0 victory over AS Otoho at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday.

Angelo Cupido scored the decisive goal in stoppage time, netting in the third minute of added time (90+3). Cupido, who was brought on in the 65th minute, converted the goal after an impressive setup by fellow substitute Godswill Enyinnaya.

The late goal brought relief to the home supporters, who had watched their team struggle against the well-organized visitors from Congo-Brazzaville for much of the match.
