Kenya Premier League sides dominated over their opponents in the Mozzart Bet Cup round of 32 with Kenya Police, Shabana, Kenya Commercial Bank, Ulinzi Stars and Bandari edging out their lower league opponents on Saturday March 7.
Kenya Police FC, beat minnows TBM Health FC 4–1 in a match played at Kenyatta Stadium, Mamboleo.
Yves Kuotima, Marvin Nabwire and a brace by Edward Ondimo were enough to send the FKF Premier League defending champions to the round of 16 of the cup competition.
Koutima headed home Eric Zakayo’s cross within two minutes of the game but the hosts replied at the half-hour mark with a goal from David Onyango.
But Ondimo headed home to give the cops their second after a long throw from Ernest Malonga. He was to add his second in the game in the second half and Kenya Police’s third before substitute Marvin Nabwire sealed TBM’s fate with a fourth.
Ondimo completed his brace with a brilliant solo effort, rounding the goalkeeper before calmly slotting home.
Shabana FC hammered Muhoroni Youth 5-2 at Gusii Stadium with new signing Assis Mwambote bagging a brace.
Keith Imbali, Wycliffe Omondi and Kevin Omundi were also on target for the Kiss Glamour Boys.
Imbali was the creator of the first goal in the 37th minute when his cross was met by Mwambote’s header to score the opener.
A minute to the breather, Omundi made it two for Shabana capitalizing on a defensive lapse by Muhoroni.
In the second half, defender Wycliffe Omondi headed home from a corner to make it three before Mwambote added his second of the game and Shabana’s fourth in the 58th minute.
Not to be outdone, Â Muhoroni pulled two goals back in the 70th minute and 83rd minute but Imbali was to put the icing on the cake for Shabana with a fifth goal in the 90th minute.
At the Ulinzi Complex, a brace by Paul Odhiambo and Edward Odhiambo, as well as a goal apiece from Bill Okite, Stephen Nyongesa and Boniface Muchiri, handed the home team a 7-0 rout of former Kenya Premier League side Zoo.
Odhiambo scored his first goal at the quarter hour mark and added the second seven minutes later after being put through by Stephen Nyongesa.
Edward Odhiambo made it three for the soldiers five minutes into the second half before Bill Okite got himself on the scoresheet in the 53rd. Stephen Nyongesa and Kenya international Bonfce Muchiri added a goal apiece to end the rout.
KCB FC too made it to the last 16 with a 4-0 hammering of Zetech Titans FC at the Embu Stadium.

Bandari FC narrowly beat neighbors Bumbani Stars 2-1 at Mbaraki Sports Club on Saturday.
Amza Moubarack scored for Bandari in seventh minute after capitalising on a defensive lapse.
Teenage sensation Erisat Orute doubled for the moments before the half time whistle. San own goal by Bandari, winners or the title in 2019 saw Bumbani get their consolation goal.
The goal briefly ignited hope among the visitors, but the Dockers held their nerve in the closing stages to see out the victory and secure their place in the next round.
Elsewhere at Moi Stadium, Embu, 3K hammered Denmak FC 4-0 to remain in the title race.
