NAIVASHA, Kenya, March 13 – The WRC Safari Rally Kenya enters its penultimate day on Saturday with a thrilling route that will take crews to the scenic Soysambu Conservancy and iconic stages that have become the highlights of the event.
Action kicks off with SS11 Soysambu 1, a 24.94km stage that will test the skills of drivers and co-drivers alike.
The stage will run in the reverse direction of last year, adding an extra layer of complexity to the challenge.
The day will also feature the iconic Sleeping Warrior stage, named after a hill that resembles a Maasai warrior.
This stage has become a fan favourite globally, and spectators are expected to flock to the area to witness the action.
Elementeita, another iconic stage, will also feature on Saturday’s schedule.
The stage will be run twice, with the second iteration serving as the penultimate test of the day.
The route takes crews closer to Nakuru area, known for its wildlife and stunning scenery.
With designated spectator and media zones in place, fans are set to enjoy an action-packed day of rallying.
The day’s action will conclude with an autograph session with fans at Mzabibu Rally Village, before crews head to the overnight parc fermé at WRTI.
